DLDP won European impact award

DLDP and CMD-K were the first ever recipents of the ENoP impact award.
DLDP is established by Venstre, the Liberal Party of Denmark, with the aim of strengthening multiparty democracy in developing countries by supporting political parties and democratic structures.
The Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) was established by the Danish Parliament (Folketinget) in 2010 as a non-partisan entity. The purpose is to promote democracy in developing countries.
This is achieved by supporting the development and establishment of political parties and encouraging multi-party systems, which can enhance political stability through cross-party cooperation.
The Danish Liberal Democracy Programme (DLDP) consolidates the liberal efforts in this endeavor and is the second largest grant recipient in DIPD.
Our programmes are managed by a full-time programme manager, Bent Nicolajsen, and a part time programme officer.
DLDP has been actively promoting democracy since 2011 through partnerships with liberal parties in new democracies. The work on democracy development in DLDP is funded by Danish development assistance through the Danish Institue for Parties and Democracy (DIPD).
