Mayors from Democratic Alliance are visiting Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti of Denmark and Danish Liberal Democracy Programme.
Are you a member of Venstre, the liberal party of Denmark or Venstres Ungdom and eager to contribute your organizational and political skills on the international stage?
DLDP works with liberal parties and democratic actors around the world to promote multiparty democracy.
As a resource person, you can share your knowledge, experience, and energy – whether that’s by joining our work abroad or supporting activities in Denmark. Explore some of the ways our network contributes to democratic change.
Se here what other resource persons have been doing with DLDP through the last year:
In March 2025, DLDP and members of Venstres Ungdom (VU) joined the People Dialogue Festival in Nairobi, Kenya.
The festival gathered political parties, civil society organisations, and activists from across Kenya to discuss democratic participation and how they think the development of civil involvement in politics should look like. PDF is inspired by the dansih "Folkemødet"
DLDP’s delegation, including Bent Nicolajsen, took part of the festival Mikael Freitag participated in panel debates and workshops on dialogue, tolerance, and leadership from the perspective of the youth wing.
In April 2025, DLDP took part in a workshops in Skopje focusing on political engagement and leadership. DLDLP facilitated the workshop from our partners "Liberal Institue Skopje".
Venstres politician Iben Krog facilitated the session “Find Your Why”, helping young politicians reflect on their personal motivation for being active in politics and how to turn values into action.
“It was rewarding to see participants connect their personal stories to a bigger democratic purpose,” Iben said.
In August 2025, DLDP hosted a delegation from the Democratic Alliance in South Africa visiting Denmark for a studytrip.
During a week-long study visit, participants met with Danish local politicians, parliamentarians, and civil society organisations to learn about local governance and citizen participation.
You have the opportunity to support democracy abroad by either as a deployed resource person in one of our partner countries or hosting our international collaborators in Denmark.
