In March 2025, representatives from DLDP and Venstres Ungdom participated in the People Dialogue Festival (PDF) in Nairobi, Kenya. The festival brought together young political leaders, civil society organisations, and activists from across Africa to discuss democratic participation, dialogue, and leadership.

DLDP’s delegation took part in panel discussions and workshops focusing on youth engagement, political tolerance, and cross-party dialogue. The exchange of experiences highlighted both shared democratic challenges and the importance of inclusive political processes in strengthening trust between citizens and political institutions.

Participation in the People Dialogue Festival strengthened DLDP’s cooperation with international partners and provided valuable insights into how youth-led dialogue initiatives can contribute to democratic development. The festival underlined the importance of empowering young people as active participants in democratic life and political decision-making.
